APFA Annual Dinner 2016

This year, the APFA Annual Dinner was held on Tuesday 22 November.

Over 150 attendees networked with senior politicians, regulators and journalists over good food and wine before listening to a keynote speech from the Shadow Pensions Minister Alex Cunningham MP, where he outlined the current Labour Party thinking on pensions and financial advice policy.

As always, the event lived up to its reputation as a high point in the financial adviser social calendar and provided a chance for like-minded professionals to discuss and share views as well as inviting and entertaining their guests in the glamorous surroundings of Plaisterers' Hall.

The Dinner also provides advisers with the opportunity to raise funds for two charities. This year the organisations chosen were the Spafford Children's Centre and Pancreatic Cancer UK. Many thanks to attendees for their generous contributions.
